Hello Lovely!

Let’s share a bit of history about Jessie Rose & Co. Take a quick glance into Jess’s world and how she developed her Denver based businesses.

The Jess behind Jessie Rose & Co.

Denver based artist and designer, Jess Rose began sewing at a very young age. In fact, at 7 years old, Jessie asked Santa for a sewing machine…and new wallpaper. It would be easy to say the rest is history, but we want you to know who you’re supporting and the face behind the brand.

Jess Rose was a creative from the very beginning. She grew up in rural Minnesota and was raised in a family business that was established in 1964. That business was a salvage yard and you could find Jess crushing wheels & tires, draining vehicles, or cleaning the grease off the shop floor. Her allowance was spent on handbags & accessories. During that time her History teacher & football coach taught her class how to sew small leather pouches. Jess immediately fell in love and began sewing handbags for herself.

While receiving her B.F.A. Rose began to create handbags for extra funds. As a young adult she moved to New York City and interned for a couture designer and worked in Manhattan. However, Colorado was calling and after quite a few years Jess moved to Denver. It was only a matter of time when she would decide to focus on her own creative business.

From Jay Davis to Jessie Rose & Co.

After years in the industry Jess met the love of her life, Ryane Rose. They were a business owner as well and the two instantly connected about their creative talents and ambition to grow. Ryane owned a tattoo shop in Denver and they were looking to expand. Seeing the potential & mission Ryane had, Jess decided to dive into another business as well. For the past few years Jess & Ryane have been growing their all femme & them tattoo shop, The Wolf Den. Jess curates the rotating gallery & manages the artists high volume schedules. Through the influence of her second business Jess knew it was time to rebrand from Jay Davis to Jessie Rose & Co. She was wanting to revisit inspiration from a young age, enlist Ryane to design small goods with her and grow her leather work. It seemed only fitting that the rebrand would become Jessie Rose & Co. And in the upcoming months & years a lovely variety of offerings will be available through Jessie Rose & Co.

Have a Lovely Day!
